For quality wood protection we recommend coating with Impregnant (against pests) and Exterier Primer (wood base coating). For very knotty wood and wood containing tannin (oak, chestnut), we recommend 2 coats of Exterier Primer. Exterier Email must be mixed well before use. Dilution is unnecessary. Apply the coating with a brush or roller onto a dry, sanded and dust-free surface. The temperature of the surface, coat and surroundings should be above 10°C and relative air humidity below 80 %. Avoid coating in strong sunlight. Between individual coats the surface should be left to dry for at least 4 hours and sanded if necessary. The drying time is extended at lower temperatures and/or higher air humidity.
